Frequently Asked Questions
Are pets/animals allowed on the Festival of Lights trail and other attractions?
Only service animals are allowed on the Moody Gardens property. This is for the safety of our guests and animals. Dogs are allowed on special theme nights. Learn More.
Can I bring outside food and drinks?
Moody Gardens provides many food and beverage options at our restaurants, as well as the indoor and outdoor concession areas. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Where can I find information for guests with disabilities?
There are plenty of handicapped parking spaces located in the Central and West Parking Lots and Parking Garage. Courtesy wheelchairs are available at the Ticket Counters. Guest Services staff will ask that you leave your driver's license as a form of deposit which will be returned when you return the wheelchair. Can I apply my purchase towards a membership?
Yes! This is the very best Moody Gardens value. An Annual Membership pays for itself in just two visits, so take your receipt to the ticket counter at the end of the day, apply that purchase toward an Annual Membership and enjoy Moody Gardens all year long (Please note that Train Tickets and Arctic Slide Tickets do not apply).

How do I get to Moody Gardens from Houston?
Take I-45 South to Galveston. Take the 61st Street exit, Turn right on 61st Street and follow the directional signs to Moody Gardens.
Where is the Arctic Slide and what is the price?
The Arctic Slide is a separate attraction located outside in front of the Visitors Center.
