Rainforest Exploration (Available Summer 2011) Experience hands-on fun with exotic animals at The Learning Place followed by a guided tour of the Rainforest at Moody Gardens®. Visit our tropical "classroom" filled with interesting plants, exotic fish and colorful birds from the rainforests of Africa, Asia and the Americas. Include a visit to the IMAX® 3D Theater for a truly multi-sensory experience.
Grades K-5: What's My Design? Learn how plants and animals adapt to their multi-layered environment.
The Bare Necessities Design rainforest habitats and discover the basic needs living things must have to survive.
Grades 6-8: Neighborhood Watch Investigate how plants and animals interact and influence one another in the rainforest environment.
Tropical Tracks Follow our rainforest expert as they explore rainforest ecosystems around the world.
Grades 9-12: Rainforest Rescue Discover how rainforest plants and animals have become an integral part of our daily lives and what we can do to preserve them.

Ocean Exploration Dive into the depths of ocean life with an instructional presentation followed by a guided tour of the Aquarium at Moody Gardens®. Visit our underwater "classroom" full of exotic fish, unusual invertebrates, frolicking seals, and playful penguins on a journey through the oceans of the world. Include a visit to the IMAX® 3D Theater for a truly in-depth experience.
Grades K-5: Let's Make a Seal Discover how seals and other marine animals are adapted for survival in the ocean environment.
Grades 6-8: Rendezvous at the Reef Explore the intricacies of coral reefs and their importance to the marine ecosystem.
Ocean’s Journey Join Ocean, a leatherback sea turtle, and journey through the oceans of the world.
Grades 9-12: Save Our Seas (S.O.S.) Delve into the depths of pollution prevention, as well as other ocean conservation issues.
Environmental Science Investigators (ESI) Investigate the incidents on Lavender Island and see if your team has what it takes to be ESI’s. This presentation is limited to 50 students and is two hours long.

Funday Custom-design your visit by choosing your favorite attractions! Select a self-guided tour of the Aquarium Pyramid®, or Discovery Pyramid®, a film at the IMAX® 3D Theater, a simulated moving adventure at the Ridefilm Theaters, a ride on the Colonel Paddlewheel Boat, an experience in the 4D Special FX Theater®, or a splash in the freshwater lagoons of Palm Beach (summer only). Palm Beach and the Colonel Paddlewheel are available weather permitting.
