Adopt an Animal Program

Moody Gardens® is home to over 5,500 different animals, representing over 650 different species. From exotic to aquatic, all these animals have to eat, and Moody Gardens® spends approximately $150,000 annually on food alone. You can help to provide the best possible care for the animals that reside here by becoming an adoptive parent!

Your contribution to the Adopt-an-Animal program helps subsidize the cost of food and animal care and provides funds for habitat improvements and animal enrichment.

Choose your favorite animal and your level of adoption from the lists below. Basic packages include a personalized certificate of adoption, 5x7 color photographs, animal fact sheet, but benefits increase with higher adoption levels. Adoptions are valid for one year from date of contribution. And remember, Adopt-an-Animal packages make unique and memorable gifts for anyone!
